Eilean Donan Castle
Been billed Scotlands most romantic castle and you can see why looking at it, this is the castle I chose to get married in myself in 2006 and we had a fantastic day in wonderful surroundings. The castle is full of history and wonderful objects and looks stunning in Photographs.
Urquhart Castle
Set on the wonderful Loch ness, although this castle is mainly a ruin it is still available for weddings. What about the bride arriving by boat from up the Loch? Being piped to the ceremony by a piper and then the whole wedding party leaving by boat? Stunning castle and stunning views.
Dunnottar Castle
This ruined fortress is just stunning, set on the top of cliffs in the sea the location is outstanding. A lot of history took place here it was visited by kings! Also used in films like Macbeth. Not for the feint hearted or unfit! A lot of steps to get to it!
Ardverikie Castle
Used in the filming of Monarch of the Glen TV series this castle is stunning, and set right beside a loch so lovely views. You have to drive through lovely woodland to get to it and it even has its own private beach which is great for pictures.
